Organizer of the plant’s conversion to the production of rocket equipment, participant in the development of UR-100, UR-200, UR-500 and Proton LVs, orbital stations, and other spacecraft. Hero of Socialist Labor.
USA November 21 1933 Born Henry Warren “Hank” Hartsfield, Jr. - astronaut of the US. Made 3 space missions in 1982, 1984 and 1985.
USSR November 21 1974 The first launch of Molnya-3, Plesetsk cosmodrome.
USSR November 21 1977 Approved a Decision of Central Committee of Communist Party and Soviet of Ministers of the USSR about basic stages of creation Buran orbital complex.

USA- England November 22 1969 Launched the satellite of Skynet-1 military communication system of England.
USSR November 22 1972 Conducted 4-th test launch of N-1 booster with 7K-L1 apparatus. Four seconds after the engines’ ignition, the LV safety systems were deactivated and the LV fell 300 meters from the launch site. The spacecraft landed safely due to the actuation of the emergency recovery system.
USA November 22 1989 Discovery-9 space shuttle was launched.
