USSR December 1 1918 Created Central aerohydrodynamic institute in Moscow.
USSR December 1 1924 Opened the first in the country museum of aviation and cosmonautics in Leningrad.
Germany December 1 1934 Launched A-2 missile to the 1.5-2 km distance.
Bulgaria December 1 1951 Born Alexander Alexandrov, research cosmonaut, citizen of Bulgaria, Hero of Bulgaria. Made a flight on Soyuz TM-5 spacecraft together with A.Solovyov and V.Savinykh in 1988.
USSR December 1 1960 The third satellite with dogs (Pcholka and Mushka) was launched to test the spacecraft’s design and systems. As the spacecraft diverged from the planned trajectory, the animals died.
USSR December 1 1967 Born Kozeev Konstantin Mirovich - cosmonaut of the Russia. Made 1 space mission in 2001.
USSR December 1 1972 Intercosmos-8 was launched.
USSR December 1 1987 Soyuz TM-4 spacecraft manned by V.Titov, M.Manarov and A.Levchenko was launched to Mir orbital complex.

USSR December 3 1963 Approved a Decision of Central Committee of Communist Party and Soviet of Ministers of the USSR to Soyuz space complex - LKI 7K spacecraft in 1964, 9K spacecraft and 11K for flying around the Moon in 1965-1966.
USSR December 3 1965 Luna-8 probe was launched to make a soft landing on the Moon. The mission was not fulfilled as the probe made a rough landing and crashed.
USA December 3 1992 Discovery-15 space shuttle was launched.

Mongolia December 5 1947 Born Jugderdemidiin Gurragcha, Mongolian research cosmonaut, Hero of Mongolia. Made a flight on Soyuz-39 spacecraft together with V.Dzhanibekov in 1981.
USA December 5 1949 Born Bruce Edward Melnick - astronaut of the US. Made 2 space missions in 1990 and 1992.

USA December 6 1957 The launch of Vanguard satellite was unsuccessful.
USA December 6 1958 The 4th launch of Pioner-3 probe to the Moon by Yunona-2 new booster was unsuccessful. The probe was burned in an atmosphere of Earth.

USA December 6 1966 ATS-1 satellite was launched by Atlas-Agena LV to study issues related to the development and operation of systems of satellites of this series.

USSR December 8 1927 Born Shatalov Vladimir Aleksandrovich, flier-cosmonaut of the USSR, Head of TsPK, Twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Cand. Sc. (Technology). Made three flights on Soyuz-4 (1969), Soyuz-8 (1969) and Soyuz-10 (1971) spacecraft.
USSR December 8 1973 Soyuz-13 manned by P.Klimuk and V.Lebedev was launched, time of the flight is 7 days and 20 hours.
