"Voskhod" Space booster.
(Western designation SL-4).
"Voshod" space booster was design at Central Special Design Bureau "Progress" in Samara City in 1960 - 1963 years. Main reason for new booster was to increasing payload capacity of series of boosters based on R-7 ICBM. Actually, it is "Molnya" booster without block "L".
First launch of the "Voskhod" booster was conducted November 1st, 1963 and the last one June 29th, 1976. All together there were 306 launches including 13 accidents. Purpose of such booster was to launch "Voshod" spacecrafts to the orbit and also to launch reconnaissance satellites of "Zenith" series.
