"Soyuz" Space booster.
(Industry designation 11A511, Western designation SL-4).
"Soyuz" space booster was designed at Central Special Design Bureau "Progress" (Samara city) in 1963-1966 years. It was designed specially to increase a payload weight for new spacecraft "Soyuz". "Soyuz" booster was designed on the basis of "Vostok" booster with the installation of modernized engines and new escape system for the spacecraft.
First test launch of the "Soyuz" space booster was conducted November 28th, 1966, last one in 1975. There were 29 launches including one accident.
